(Al-Ahraf) 7 : 94
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا أَخَذْنَا أَهْلَهَا بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَضَّرَّعُونَ
And We have never sent any Prophet into any city unless We seized its people with suffering and adversities so that they might be beseechers.
